Ladies Tea Party honors missionary Annie Armstrong and her tireless efforts to spread the gospel of Christ in North America.
Annie Armstrong was a lay Southern Baptist denominational leader instrumental in the founding of the Woman's Missionary Union. Every year Southern Baptists honor the life and work of Annie Walker Armstrong (1850-1938) by giving to the annual Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American missions. As a tireless servant of God and a contagious advocate and supporter of missions efforts throughout the world, Annie rallied churches to give more, pray more and do more for reaching people for Christ.
