Starlings swarm over the West Pier Brighton


One of the amazing sights of Brighton is the huge flock of starlings who have made the town's desolate and decaying old pier their home and return to it with a display of formation flying every evening. The gregarious birds fly in tight formations as they wheel and turn, making smoke-like shapes.
