Hind wing- brown with a reddish tinge ; a faint curved postmedial line ; a slight dark terminal line ; cilia with a fine ochreous line at base ; the underside ocbreous irrorated with fuscous, a sinuous black ante- medial line, a discoidal spot, an irregularly crenulate postmedial line with fuscous band beyond it, with waved outer edge, some dark points on termen. Head and thorax red-brown ; tegulae with medial black line; patagia with black line near upper edge ; tarsi banded with black ; abdomen red-brown. Fore wing red-brown with a purplish tinge and irrorated with black ; subbasal line represented by oblique double strise from costa and cell; a short apple-green fascia on inner margin before the antemedial line, which is indistinct, dentate, with small black spot on it below median nervure ; traces of a small round orbicular; reniform very ill-defined, fuscous grey with two greenish points on it surrounded by black scales; a prominent black-brown medial shade, excurved from costa to submedian I'old where it emits a fascia to antemedial line, then reduced to a dentate line ; postmedial line rather indistinct, double, bent outwards
