The Zola Dam near Aix-en-Provence, France
The Zola dam was designed by François Zola, the father of the writer Emile Zola. It was built from 1847 and commissioned in 1854. It is located in the municipality of Le Tholonet near Aix-en-Provence in the South of France. The dam is a landmark along hiking trails through typical landscapes painted by Paul Cézanne.
