ISS construction, August 2007. At upper centre is the Canadarm2 robotic arm and a solar panel array (orange), both attached to a section of the International Space Station (ISS). This is mission STS-118, where the Space Shuttle Endeavour flew materials and astronauts to the ISS to continue its construction. In the background, the Earth's limb is seen with cloud-covered ocean. The ISS orbits some 350 kilometres above the Earth's surface. Photographed on 11 August 2007, during a spacewalk.
