In the crypt below the Cathedral of Ventimiglia. Fragment of pluteus, with motif of intertwined arches decorated with pearls, and helix spirals. Second half sec. VIII. The crypt of the cathedral exhibited are remains of an older Lombard church. Romanesque Cathedral of Ventimiglia, dedicated to the Assumption, dating from the 11th - 13th centuries. Ventimiglia is resort city in the province of Imperia, Liguria, Italy.
