Factory worker loads the filtration system with molten sulphur from the melting pot at the sulphur factory in the village of Tamansari in East Java, Indonesia. The factory located in the jungle next to the village processes from 9 to 12 tons of sulphur per day delivered here from the nearby sulphur mines in the crater of the active volcano of Kawah Ijen. Sulphur is melted at the factory, then filtered and loaded into sacks. Workers work here in poisonous toxic fumes. It is believed the work at the factory is even more dangerous, than the work at the sulphur mines.
