GULF (Nov. 19, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Neil Sliva, from Houghton, Mich., applies epoxy to a missile warning system on an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Swamp Foxes of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Sliva works as an aviation electronics technician aboard Ike. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
