BELLOWS AIR FORCE STATION, Hawaii (July 14, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Talgat Marks, a native of Danville, Pennsylvania, assigned to the Assault Craft Unit 5 aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), stands by as a landing craft, air cushion comes onto Bellows Beach during a sustainment exercise. San Diego is embarked on a scheduled deployment as part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, which is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to America, Pearl Harbor, and San Diego.
