Special cars will leave on the Metropolitan at 10 a. m. The annual picnic of the Retail Flo- rists' Club was a big success, with an attendance of nearly 300. The growers started by defeating the retailers at baseball by a score of 21 to 15. Then followed well contested games, includ- ing many novelty races with balloons, kites, soap, etc. S. A. Frost, dressed as a constable, directed the sports with an able bodyguard of judges. Supper was served within the building and on the lawns of the Transportation building. J. J. H. WOBCESTEB, MASS. After about twenty-one days of rain, the growers feel more encouraged, now that they have had a few days of sun- shine.
