5th FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Feb. 23, 2017) Information Systems Technician 1st Class Brooke Stock performs a mock takedown maneuver after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) during a non-lethal weapons qualification course. Truxtun is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
