Looking across the interior of Coventry Cathedral towards the baptistery window. The photograph is part of a batch taken by John Laing & Son to show the finished contract of Coventry Cathedral, built by the company between mid-1950s and 1962. The Baptistery window was designed by John Piper and was made by Patrick Reyntiens. The 198 panels were designed by John Piper over a period of almost two years between 1958 and 1960. The stained glass was made over three years with installation starting in May 1961.
