Kew Observatory, established in 1769, was an astronomical and geophysical observatory. It included equipment operated by the Met Office, the UK's national weather monitoring and forecasting service. Observations were carried out here until 1980, when the Met Office facilities were relocated. It is located in Old Deer Park, Richmond, London, UK. Photographed at the Underground Seismograph House in June 1965.
