The pros-pects of the art are anything but Philharmonic have in rehearsal fortheir first concert, Mozarts Jupiter symphony,and a new symphony by Garde, a protege ofMendelssohns, which showed more power ofinvention in the ideas than in their treatment. At the theatres nothing has transpired Vvor-thy of special note since the departure of The Placides at the Park havedrawn good houses, but their version of Dom-bey was very little to our taste. ^.^ • - T >.\.
