Plaque commemorating the visit of HRH The Prince of Wales to the Lady of the Lake steamer on Ullswater in 2018.

The Lady of the Lake was launched on 26th June 1877, and it is believed to be the oldest working passenger boat in the UK. Although it is still known as a steamer, the steam engine was replaced by a diesel engine in the 1930s.
