One unit is also utilized in the unloading of Salmon and Herring. Depending on the particular specie being unloaded, rates run between 15 and 20 tons per hour. The vertical lift requirement at our plant is 40 ft. and the horizontal component is 30 ft. We are very pleased with the performance of the Tempco units from a repair and maintenance point of view, rates of unloading and damage to the fish. They have been in operation for four years.
