Parishioners outside the church of 12th Century St John the Baptist in Boldre, a village and civil parish in the New Forest district of Hampshire near the Lymington River. Former residents include William Gilpin, who was the village parson and naturalist and lived at Vicars Hill. Famed for his wealth of knowledge about the New Forest, and its flora and fauna he's buried in the churchyard of St John the Baptist beside an old maple tree.
