Unloading and loading the Lady Sandy supply boat on the wharf near Ketei and Tovu took place from late afternoon until approx 2100. Coming off in white sacks flour, in green sacks sugar. Going on in white sacks copra with approx 220 coconuts per sack which is then worth less than £5. Also going in white sacks are some fresh coconuts for sale in Suva, worth more per coconut than copra. Fibreglasses take supplies to the three villages inside the caldera. Skipper to whom I chatted did not object to photos being taken. Totoya, southern Laus, Fiji.
