FORT MEADE, Md. (June 30, 2016) Navy instructors and students from the Defense Information School team up with Sailors from the Defense Media Activity to participate in an early-morning formation run through the streets of Fort George G. Meade to celebrate the 10-year birthday of the mass communication specialist (MC) rating. The run kicks off a day of events on board Fort Meade in honor of the 10th anniversary of the merger between the photographer’s mate, lithographer, journalist and illustrator draftsman ratings, which ultimately became the MC rating.
