Brittany and Sgt. Jonathan Lowe console 6-year-old Rose Lowe Dec. 1 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson's Buckner Physical Fitness Center. Sgt. Lowe was one of 125 soldiers from the 109th Transportation Company, part of Army Alaska's 17th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, who deployed to Kuwait in March in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
