L Rock Flower Co. - KANSAS CITY, MO. 1106 GRAND AVENUE Menbers Florisb' Tdesraph Delimy Will rvefally execute orders for Kansas City ami any town in Missouri or Kansas. Everytiiing First-Clasa 14th and H Streets. Ae Ua DnUff lly UllNOIS LARGE GREENHOUSES lyn, for over forty years, died suddenly September 27, in the greenhouse. He was over 70 years of age and was pen- sioned by the Weirs three years ago. Carl Kamman has opened a retail store at 31 West Fifty-eighth street. Alexander Kupferman, of Thomas Young's force, has returned from a month's vacation in Canada. A. KoUmiller has opened a handsome store on Madison avenue, opposite Dards. Craig Muir has moved from Forty- second street to West Fortieth street, near Sixth avenue, and is building up an excellent trade. E. H. James, the Harrisii lily bulb grower, of Bermuda, was a recent vis- itor; also H. P. Neun, of Eochester, N. Y. At Arthur T. Boddington's a force of twenty-five are busy night and day with the fall shipments. The large cellars are crowded with importations, and these are being rapidly dissemi- nated. The sweet pea sales have been enormous this season. Harry A. Bun- yard takes a most optimistic view of the trade outlook. The Elliott Auction Co. sold the en- tire stock of the Bonnie Brae Nurseries at New Eochelle October 2, and October 9, at West End, N. Y., will sell the W. G. Eisele stock. William Duckham, of Madison, N. J., left for England on the Mauretania October 2. He will add to the pleasure of his home visit his influence with the European houses in behalf of the Na- tional Flower Show here in April. The Flower Auction Co. continues its daily sales at 146 West Twenty- eighth street at 10 a. m. An earlier hour is contemplated. Little space remains unlet on the Guttman floor of the Coogan building. The Henry M. Eobinson Co. says Mme. Eussell is easily winning first honors among its new roses. J. K
