Area of native broadleaf woodland on steep slope below limestone scarp of Prestatyn Hillside between two main quarries. Trees are often stunted due to poor soil. Species include oak, cherry, ash, sycamore, hazel plus imestone loving species: small leaved lime, whitebeam, yew, spindle, dogwood, & rare wild service tree. Footpath leads from Offa’s Dyke Path, along top of limestone escarpment, down to Bishopswood Road south of town centre.
