A rare Moroccan nimcha,18th/19th century. A slightly curved blade with shallow fullers,stained. Engraved silver quillons and knuckle-bow. Ivory grip with finely chiselled gold inlays as well as silver mountings set with gold. Wooden scabbard with tooled leather cover,damage in the area of the locket,silver suspension ring with gold inlay(some missing),and a silver chape. Fabric suspension with plaited metallic tassels.
