Germany, Berlin: Nocturnal view of the House of the Cultures of the World


The House of the Cultures of the World was designed by american architect Hugh Stubbins and was the US contribution to the World Exhibition in 1957. Actually the congress hall is used for exhibitions, theater, dance events and others. The Berlin inhabitants call the building popularly the "Pregnant Oyster".
