Dull olive-brown above, below pale to whitish and whole bodywith silvery and brassy reflections. Iris pale brownish, with reddishtints. Fins brown, membranes of spinous dorsal darker, also longi-tudinal band on soft dorsal, though only on membranes. Anal withmembranes of spinous fin and basal half of membranes of soft findeep brown. Caudal little deeper brown than body. Paired finsrather pale, with dusky blotch within origin and axil.
