Team Shaw Airmen were given the opportunity for an up-close look at an SA-8 Gecko “Land Roll” Launcher surface-to-air missile system at Shaw Air Force Base, , Jan. 20, 2017. The SA-8, originally known as the 9K33 Osa, was created by Russia in the 60s and 70s to defend against enemy airpower.
