Whitey's Restaurant & Bar Arlington, VA
From dive bar to wine bar, the restaurant formerly known as Whitey’s, was recently transformed into a trendy Italian eatery serving risotto fritters and more than 70 wines by the glass. Whitey’s was a generational touchstone, fondly remembered by the baby boomers who grew up loving baseball cards, cherry Cokes, duckpin bowling, Nehi soda, gumball machines and wax lips. In later years, Whitey’s became famous for its ‘broasted chicken’. Its fame now lives on in the memories of its many satisfied customers.
