A windblown clump of mature Beech trees with ice on the trunks in winter Lincolnshire Wolds UK
Winters in the Lincolnshire Wolds can be cold and in this image frozen wind blown snow clings to the trunks of Beech trees high in the Wolds. This is the A16 from Louth going south to Boston. At this point which is called Haugham Top the road is quite high and is within sight of the north sea to the east on a clear westerly the sun is low and hazy behind the trees.
