SUNRISE (The New Red Raspberry) COMBINING EARLINESS — HARDINESS — QUALITY This new berry is said to ripen 10 to IG days earlier than Latham. Its size is intermediate between Ranere and Latham, but nearer the size of Latham. It has been very resistant to anthracnose, leaf spot, cane blight ( and the resistance shown is probably one of the important factors in its ability to withstand low temperatures. In New Jersey where the variety has been given extensive tests the Sunrise has come through low temperatures with practically no injury, whereas Latham and other varieties were severely injured. U.
