Shoppers at the original Brooklyn Flea in the neighborhood of Clinton Hill in New York

Shoppers at the original Brooklyn Flea in the neighborhood of Clinton Hill on Saturday, April 12, 2014. The flea market, which hosts over 100 booths by Brooklyn vendors offering handmade or used merchandise opens up in the athletic field of Bishop Loughlin High School on Saturdays. Shoppers come from all over the city for the bargains and one-of-a-kind local merchandise that is offered for sale. The creators have since branched out with other locations in Brooklyn as well as their trendy Smorgasburg, a Brooklyn Flea for foodies. (© Frances M. Roberts)
