1732 - John Waller alias Trevor who was pilloried for Perjury and pelted by the angry mob. Waller was a serial court witness in the hope of monetary reward. At this time he had given false witness which sent James Dalton to the scaffold. Brutally punished by the crowd, he was then beaten to death by Edward Dalton, the brother of the executed man together with two other men Richard Griffiths and William Belt who was acquitted of the brutal murder of Waller after stripping him naked, Richard Griffiths and Edward Dalton were convicted and were hung at Tyburn in September 1732
