HABITAT: Mixed woods. STATUS: Rare in Manitoba and the continental North- west Territories. Threatened in Michigan. NOTES: The only Ontario site is a one acre stand in Sibley Provincial Park. The Great Lakes populations of A. cordifolia are regarded by some as the Great Lakes endemic A. whitneyi. HABITAT: Bois mixtes. SITUATION: Rare au Manitoba et dans la partie con- tinentale des Territoires du Nord-Ouest, Menacée au Michigan. REMARQUES: Le seul endroit où elle a été signalée en Ontario est un peuplement d'une acre dans le parc pro- vincial de Sibley. Certains estiment que les populations de A. cordifolia qu'on trouve dans la région des Grands Lacs appartiennent en réalité à l'espèce A. whitneyi, endémi- que autour des Grands Lacs.
