This is an Apache Plume plant seen at the top of the mesa on a mile trek through a sandy, rocky canyon and steep climb at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument New Mexico in the United States of America. The mountain in the distance is the Sandia's near Albuquerque, New Mexico.
