‘CTEF’ program and Australian soldiers provide maintenance equipment, supplies to counter ISIS. As part of the Counter-ISIS Train and Equip Fund program, Army and Australian soldiers assigned to Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, meet Iraqi Border Guard Forces to divest more than $14 million of training and medical equipment on April 27, 2021. CTEF supports the government's strategy to counter the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria by working alongside the Iraqi Security Forces to promote stability in the region.
