This bay is a 1,227 acre water body in Laconia, New Hampshire. A short channel in the north section connects this bay with Lake Winnipesaukee in the village of Weirs Beach. A dam on the southern section separates it from Opechee Bay, in Lakeport. This bay is named after Chief Paugus who fought during Dummer's War.
