It can be pulled by hand without digging, and has yielded in Massa- chusetts at the rate of 35 tons per acre. Pkt., 5c.; oz., 20c.; }i lb., Carrot CUaiitenay. This new carrot originated in France. An improvement on Danvers, but av- eraging more perfect in form, of rich dark orange color, maturing just after the Danvers, yielding much heavier crops. Pkt., lOc; oz., 15c.; X lb., 30c.; lb., $1, by mail, $ PEERLESS WHITE SPINE CUCUMBER. CUCUMBER. Peerless White Spine. This I think is the finest strain of White Spine cucumber grown either for market, family, or forcing. Perfect in shape, of a dark green color, but white when fully ripe; very prolilic, crisp, fine flavor; the best early cucumber for all purposes. Pkt., 6c.; oz., 10c.; >i lb., 25e.; lb., 75c. DANDELION. Improved Broad Iieaf. This is the finest strain grown. The seed of this variety has been saved from selected specimen plants producing the largest and greatest amount of leaves to the single plant. Single specimens prepared for mar- ket weighing over four pounds each. NothinK is more wholesome for greens than the dandelion.
