Reed cormorant (Microcarbo africanus) with a fish in its bill. This species of cormorant frequents a wide variety of freshwater habitats. They are widely distributed across sub-Saharan Africa. It can be distinguished from other cormorants by its much smaller size (50-60 centimetres), red eyes and proportionately longer tail. Photographed in Chobe National Park, Botswana.
