Taken on the way through to Vik from Reykjavik. The rain lifted and the sun shone and the beautiful greens exploded. The greens I have seen in Iceland are like no-where else I have seen. The odd patches of grass are verdant but it is the mosses that provide most of the variety - so many flavours. A real photographers paradise. Yes, there is lens flare and yes I could have removed it but for this shot I felt that it added to the feel. This is a 5 image panorama with each image a 7 shot bracket HDR. I try to tone the effect down but with the right hand cliff face in shadow and the harsh lighting I feel it really makes this image come alive. And why do it this way? 35 shots for the pano - cos I like doing it this way and I feel it gives me more space to drop a bracket shot here or there if something moves/happens. Easier to drop a bracket than to wish you had it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.
