The Hybrid Peepetuak Hoses and Rosa Rugosa. are as a rule the most satis- factory for bedding pur- poses. Nothing is better for this purpose than the Special Collections noted on page 51. This is, without doubt, the most valuable hardy climbing rose yet introduced. Vigorous habit, very rapid growth, handsome large foUage; flowers semi-double, bright crimson, and appear in such profusion as to literally cover the whole plant. The flowers are persistent and remain in form and color much longer than other varieties. By pruning or training on the groimd or on trellis the plants can be grown in almost any form and place desired, ^ine stock of good plants, 25c. to 50c.; lov»- rates per 100.
