Beauto Lyonnaise iswhite, upon a slightly yellow-tinted ground, verylarge and full. Alice Furon, a large globular flower,yellowish-white, correctly described as an improvedGloire Lyounaise ; the beautiful dark green foliagekeeps clean and handsome throughout the Gillemot is a distinctly imbricated blossom, with large, thick petals ; colour clear, French white, described by some as clear ivory-white—a really goodnew Rose. Teas and Noisettes.—Muriel Grahame is a sportfrom Catherine Mermet, which has already given useeveral valuable additions, in The Bride, Waban, andothers. The only distinction is, that it is a very palecream, slightly flushed with rose; and we do not find itquite so full, as a rule, as the majority of C. Mermetblooms, but some grand examples occasionallyappear. Bridesmaid is another epoit from Fig. 103.—male catkins and shoot of agathis obtusa, (see p. 300.) Mrs. R. G. Shaiman-CrawforJ is auother grand I described it as being likely to rival Mrs. very closely, and lately 1 have more than oncewritten that some persons prefer it to that beautifulvariety ; it is quite rose, with a distinct form andcolour, of good habit, very free blooming, a deepsilvery pink, with fle?h shadings outside. All of theabove six were raised in this country. Hybrid Teas.—Matjorie is a free and compactgrower, one of the best Roses for cultivatirg underglass, every flower coming perfect in form, but in sizerather small, according to the present day standard;the colour is a soft creamy-white, suffused withf-almon-pink, and it is a very floriferous Rivoire, one of the grandest hybrid Teas wehave as jet received from Messrs. Fernet Ducber, aplant of a vigorous habit, free
