Frog Researcher
Researcher Tyrone Hayes in the lab at the University of California Berkeley exposed these leopard frogs to a cocktail of 9 pesticides including atrazine that are regularly used in corn farming. Hayes had earlier found that atrazine caused an enzyme in male frogs to release more estrogen. The cocktail of pesticides had an even worse effect and lead to increased mortality an immune problems.
