Cavalry paratroopers assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division ruckmarch to their next lane during a Spur Ride, Tuesday, November 27 on Fort Bragg. The Spur Ride honored the heritage of the 73rd Cavalry Regiment by testing the candidates’ grit and determination over a 36-hour period where they were evaluated on their knowledge of regimental history, tactics, medical skills and airborne proficiency.
