A red fox watching directly on my wide angle lens captured in the beautiful environment of the Gran Paradiso National Park Italy

This wonderful specimen of red fox approached me without any fear while I was walking on my trail, and she accompained me along my hiking for more than a hour. I had the chance to photograph this incredibly friendly fox with all my lenses, from 12 to 200 mm. Actually, I made a complete portfolio of her, of more than 70 pictures! I took this picture at around 13:00, while I was headed to the lakes area of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the largest wild area of Italy. This park is located in the Western Alps around the border between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, and it is truely a paradise for wildlife photographers. Many species live there, such as chamoises, ibexes, marmots, eagles, hawks, foxes (of course!) and, recently re-introduced, grey wolves and black bears.
