Head, thorax, and abdomen dark brown tinged 'with purplish grey, the pectus and legs greyer. Fore wing dark purple-brown, suffused with silvery blue-grey to postmedial line; antemedial line pale grey defined on outer side by black, oblique and slightly curved ; a minute white spot at upper angle of cell and larger spot at lower angle; postmedial line pale grey defined on inner side by black, oblique to vein 6, excurved to vein 4, then inwardly oblique ; a fine white lino at base of cilia. Hind wing dark brown with a fine white line at base of cilia ; the underside grey thickly irrorated with brown. Hah. S. Nigeria, Lagos (Boar/), 1 5 type. Ea-jJ. 26 millim. 7058. Head and thorax pale reddish brown ; palpi whitish in front; abdomen fuscous brown. Fore wing reddish brown with a cupreous gloss; an oblique slightly sinuous brown antemedial line defined by whitish on inner side ; two pure white discoidal spots, the lower rather larger and placed on a diff'used paler rufous patch ; postmedial line brown defined by whitish on outer side, excurved from costa to vein 4, then incurved; a fine pale line at base of cilia.
