Thousands of people picked free tulips during the National Tulip Day at the Museum Square near Rijskmuseum on January 20, 2024 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Today marks the official start of tulip season with a special tulip picking garden where people can pick tulips for free,. This year have an extra celebration, the 12th anniversary of the picking garden, organised by Dutch tulip growers, Amsterdam's Museum Square is filled with approximately 200,000 tulips. These tulips are specially arranged to make a giant temporary garden. Some more billion Dutch tulips are expected to bring spring into homes around the world.
