An Imperial German helmet M 1891 for an officer of the Baden Infantry Black leather body with some crazing to front and back visors, torn tan leather sweatband, no silk lining. Tarnished gilt officer Baden griffin front plate attached with two nuts and screw posts, highly tarnished officer gold spike and base. Four officer screw post stars for the spike base, flat gilt chinstraps with 91 lug ends(?). Tarnished gold side posts, spline and front visor trim. Officer national and Baden state cockades.
