PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 30, 2016) Sailors use the aircraft crash handling and salvage crane, also known as Tilly, to lift an aircraft during a crash and salvage drill on USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) flight deck. The crash and salvage team is the first response crew to any incident on the flight deck. John C. Stennis is underway to conduct routine training and participate in National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day events in Hawaii.
