Miller from Clarkston, Mich. fires an M240 machine during a live-fire training exercise on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) June 24, 2017 in the Pacific Ocean. Nimitz is currently on an underway period in the 7th fleet area of operations. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
