E have hitherto treated of the mixed andcompounded parts of the pyrites > as (i.) itsiron-earth-, (2.) copper-earth; (3.) crude, unme-tallic earth, with which the two firft are ever en-tangled 5 (4.) itsfulphur; (5.)* arfenic, and thefandarach thence procurable ; (6.) the filver; (7.)the gold in the pyrites-y all thefe are to be foundin the pyrites, though not in equal regard orconsideration, fome being effential or conftituentparts, others incidental only, and without whichthe deilruclion of the whole either may, or may notbe effected.
