The motion was car-ried. The by-law respecting the date of an-nual meeting was on motion changed toread during the last seven days inDecember instead of the last week. Thisassures the holding of meeting betweenChristmas1 Day and New Years. E. Fielding, treasurer, asked themembers to consider the question of se-curing representation for the membersof the association in western E. FIELDING, Treasurer. The west is to advance 100 fold accord-ing to statistics. Last years graincrop was grown on only one one-hun-dredth of the arable land that is yet tobe broken and tilled. Mr. Fielding con-sidered that it was to the advantage ofthe association to consolidate it bysome such means. He moved, secondedbv Jos. Oliver, that the new directorateboard consider this question and bringin some amendments, if they consideredit advisable, next year. By such a pro-vision the association could keep intouch with its western members and in-crease its activities in proportion to thegrowth of tile country. The motion car-ried. List of Officers.
